• Non-conductive, non-corrosive, fiber-composite connectors are formed from a fiber composite comprising 78 percent glass and 22 percent vinyl ester polymer by weight evaluated per ASTM D3172.
• Tension tests per ASTM D3039 show that the connector material has a tensile strength of 59kN, and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 5×10-6in/in/°F or 1×10-5mm/mm/°C, nominal.
